Project Controlling & Compliance Specialist (m/f/d) At Plan International

– 2 years contract/full-time (39 hours per week) –

Your tasks

  • Expenditure-income control and ongoing project financial planning in collaboration with the project sub-team.
  • Management and monitoring of the finances of publicly and privately funded humanitarian and development aid projects. This includes:
  • Preparation and review of project budgets, financial statements, and funding requirements
  • Preparation of budgets as well as financial interim and final reports for current and new projects
  • Ensuring compliance with donor guidelines (AA, BMZ, EU, UN organisations, private donors)
  • Support country offices and project partners in the financial management of projects and compliance with the donor guidelines
  • Preparation and support of audits as well as support in contract management

Your profile

  • Completed training or comparable qualification (Bachelor) with a focus on finance or controlling
  • Experience in project accounting or use of project funds from public clients is an advantage
  • Knowledge of IT-based project management systems (e.B. SAP, MS Dynamcis 365)
  • Affinity for numbers and very good KNOWLEDGE of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
  • Very good English, and Good Spanish & German language skills
  • Experience abroad is an advantage
