IDLO is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Coordinator for a consulting assignment. Under the supervision of the Manager, Office Services Unit, the ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various administrative and coordination tasks to ensure the smooth and timely operations of IDLO’s Headquarters (HQ) building renovation project and related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist, as directed, in the process of planning, implementing, and monitoring of the renovation project, including coordination with IDLO internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist the supervisor in performing other assignments and tasks related to the IDLO HQ renovation project and relevant activities.
- Provide periodic and ad-hoc project implementation reports to the supervisor and stakeholders.
- Assist the supervisor in communications with staff regarding the project.
- Perform other tasks, as requested by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
Education and Professional Experience:
- University degree in business administration, social sciences, or other relevant discipline from a reputable institution.,
- Additional education or certification in project management is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with construction/renovation work and with managing related contracts.
- Proven experience in administrative, coordination and project management support.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask on diverse tasks and/or projects.
Languages:
- Fluency (level C) in English and Italian language is essential.
Terms & Conditions
IDLO shall offer the selected candidate a single engagement agreement for initially 12 months. The expected start date is 1 March 2024.
