Job Summary

As a member of the Apartment Outreach project team, you will facilitate the achievement of the Helios project objectives through coordinating and reporting on all project activities. A key component of this project is the identification of independent accommodation and the creation of linkages with beneficiaries and landlords/real estate agents. In this role you will be promoting the program and conducting outreach at neighborhood level, besides engaging with landlords and real estate agents. Your work will ensure that the tasks for which you are

responsible apply best practices and constantly work towards improving the impact of its benefits to

those we serve.

Job Responsibilities:

General

· Support the coordination and implementation of all assigned project activities as outlined in the detailed implementation plan in line with CRS program quality principles and standards, donor requirements, and good practices.

· Monitor and report any challenges and/or gaps identified to inform adjustments to plans and implementation schedules. Assist partners in their efforts to reflect on project experiences.

· Complete project documentation for assigned activities. Assist with identifying information for case studies and reports on promising good practices.

Apartment Outreach Job Responsibilities

· Engage apartment owners and real estate agents within Greece to participate in apartment renting program using key messages, scripts, and multimedia promotion material.

· Effectively manage owner / real estate agent data management system and website for outreach and report any inconsistencies or gaps.

· Verify apartments physically based on project minimal standards for project participants.

· Proactively engage and strengthen partnerships with Caritas Hellas and Caritas Athens team through regular communication.

· Provide guidance and technical support/orientation to implementing partner staff.

· Ensure project documentation for assigned activities is complete with all required documents and is filed per agency and donor requirements.

· Carry out other duties as assigned and depending on project needs.

Typical Background, Experience & Requirements

Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree in Social Sciences or Engineering would

be a plus. Additional experience may substitute for some education.

· Minimum of 2 years of work experience in project implementation, ideally in the field of urban

housing.

· Experience working with stakeholders at various levels and strengthening community

Partnerships.

· Experience working with partners, participatory action planning and community engagement.

· Experience using MS Windows and MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); hands-on experience with basic data management.

· Experience in graphic design will be considered an asset.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with local stakeholders.

· Ability to contribute to written reports.

· Proactive, results-oriented, and service-oriented.

· Attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness in executing assigned responsibilities.

Required Languages: Greek and English.

Travel Required: 30%

Valid driving license

External: Caritas Hellas, Caritas Athens, HELIOS implementing partners, network of stakeholders.
