Job Overview
Futuremakers by Standard Chartered is global initiative to tackle inequality by promoting greater economic inclusion in its’ markets. Futuremakers supports disadvantaged young people, especially girls and those with disabilities, to learn new skills and improve their chances of getting a job or starting their own business. CBM Global Indonesia and its partner (Mien R. Uno Foundation) with the support of CBM UK implement the project which will be started in July 2022 to Dec 2023.
The Project Officer will contribute to the successful delivery of Futuremakers project by providing management oversight and disability inclusion technical supports in project implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, and learning with CBM Global’ partner organisations.
Based: Work from CBM Global’ s partner organisation office in Jakarta, Indonesia. All applicants must have the right to work in Indonesia.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Project Implementation (30%): Ensure effective systems for tracking implementation progress, including periodic reports, regular meetings, administrative matters, and action plans to solve operational problems leading to smooth implementation.
- Technical Oversight and Capacity Building (30%): Identify and provide technical supports and capacity building on disability inclusion for CBM Global’ implementing partner.
- Coordination and Networking (20%): Coordination of Futuremakers project activities with local OPDs, local government, other development actors, and donor.
- Programme Quality and Learning (10%): Facilitate reflection meetings with partners for learning, generate evidence to support advocacy initiatives and communication material.
- Accountability (10%): Ensure the establishment of effective complaints and feedback mechanism.

Person Specification

Experience
- Professional experience in a national or international NGO with a minimum of 3 years at Project Officer level
- Proven experience in results-based management and project cycle management, including assessment, monitoring and evaluation, with a sound understanding of budgeting and budget tracking
- Demonstrated experience in managing internal and external relationships and partnerships particularly with implementing partners, project stakeholders, and donors
- Experience of working with youth, marginalised and excluded groups*
- Experience in working with entrepreneurship programme*
Skills/competencies/personal qualities
- Good knowledge of disability issues, understanding of UN-CRPD and skilled in advocating for and transfer of knowledge (capacity development) through training or provision of guidance
- Skilled in sustaining collaborative relationships with stakeholders, internal and external
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills
- A self-starter: proactive, resourceful, a high level of autonomy and entrepreneurial
- Diligent, persistent with a can-do, positive attitude
- Ability to demonstrate focus, coordination, prioritization skills and decisiveness, and meeting tight deadlines

- Relevant experience and qualifications in project management and administration
- Good management skills with experience of implementing projects and managing budgets of institutionally funded programmes
