PAC is an active NGO established in 2012, registered in Turkey, active in NWS, with other small operations offices in both Yemen and Sudan.
In NWS; PAC is a leading organization in both the health and Nutrition sectors through several central programs that work to improve the resilience of crisis-affected communities in NWS.
PAC’s programs always aimed to build and support the active health and nutrition systems in the target areas through maintaining a high level of integration across several sectors and leads central services to facilitate the provision of the service that other actors are running in NWS.

Position: Project Officer

Job Purpose:
The Project Officer will play a key role in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of their assigned projects. This role involves coordinating with stakeholders, managing project resources, and ensuring that project goals are met within the established timelines and budget. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, a commitment to social impact, and experience in project management within the PAC fields+ of work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination:
- Assist in the development of project work plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate project activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and donor requirements.
- Organize and lead project meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
- Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Track project progress against objectives and deliverables, preparing regular progress reports.
- Support MEAL staff in conducting evaluations and assessments to measure project impact and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of project activities, outcomes, and expenditures.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Develop and maintain relationships with community members, partner organizations, donors and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members and external partners.
- Represent PAC at meetings, conferences, and events as needed.
- Resource Management:
- Oversee the procurement and management of project resources, including materials and supplies.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
- Identify and address any issues or challenges related to project implementation.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and submit detailed project reports to the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and organized.
- Contribute to grant proposals and funding reports as required.
Note: the above-mentioned key responsibilities are illustrative ones. Other future responsibilities/accountabilities may be assigned to the job depending on the department organizational chart.
Position holders will be based in Gaziantep, therefore, legal right to work in Türkiye is necessary at the time of application.
Qualification (Education/Work Experience)
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Project Management, International Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or a similar role within an NGO or non-profit organization.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced level of both English, Arabic.
