  • Responsible for overall coordination, representation at the provincial and implementation of the planned activities under the project in coordination with Head of Project.
  • The overall responsibility of Project Officer is to work in the program’s communities in the covered municipalities and barangays, to support project initiatives, assists and facilitates activities in closed coordination with Head of Project.
  • To act as the focal person in managing, coordinating and implementing all activities at the provincial and LGUs partners specific to Action Against Hunger Results
  • To prepare work plan, regular reports, capitalization reports and lead in consolidating documents at the provincial level
  • To organize and participate seminars, conferences activities related to the project.

Key activities in your role will include

1. To act as the focal person in managing, coordinating and implementing all activities to LGU and community partners specific to Action Against Hunger Results.

  • Lead in the coordination of local partners (municipality and Barangay) and other shareholders and ensure timely implementation of the planned activities in coordination with the Head of Project
  • Lead in the implementation of Action Against Hunger result under the convenio Project to assigned covered areas
  • Support the Head of Project in the development and or review and conduct of capacity building modules related to the project
  • Any other task required to achieve the Project objective

2. To prepare work plan, regular reports, capitalization reports and lead in consolidating documents at the provincial level

  • Prepare weekly and monthly plans and updates/progress report on achievements
  • Contribute in the donor interim and final reports and submit following the Mission Reporting System
  • Develop and Maintain database of Photos, Videos and other multimedia document related to the project
  • Contribute in preparing meeting minutes including Project team monthly meeting, training proceedings and other reports requested by Head of Project
  • Assist the Head of Project in capitalization of the experience in the activities of the Project

3. To organize/participate seminars, conferences activities related with the project activities

  • Under proper authorization, represent Action Against Hunger and actively participate in related events in projects areas or elsewhere
  • Actively search for local capacities with potential to give and add value to the project (NGO,institutions universities etc.)

Do you meet the profile required criteria?

  • Good presentation and communication skills for a number of different audiences
  • Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in development or humanitarian work in a technical capacity on multi-sectors
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs including Word Excel & Powerpoint
