SUPPORT SERVICES ASSOCIATE
ROLE
1.The Support Services Associate is primarily responsible for community engagement and coordination in an assigned SCP geographical area.
2. The Support Services Associate oversees and provide technical support to partners and ensure an integrated multi sectoral program of activities is established in each barangay of implementation.
3. The Support Services Associate will develop an implementation plan, play a key role in assessments and ensure community engagement and coordination is cohesive across both the area and for all technical sectors.
4. The Support Services Associate supports documentation of project activities and complies with administrative, supply chain and financial requirements.
5. The Support Services Associate represents Save the Children in communities and with stakeholders, e.g. community leaders, representatives from donors, government, and other agencies as instructed, delegated and required by the BARMM Team Leader.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
- Experience of and well developed skills in staff management, supervision and capacity building
- Proven track record of supporting a senior management team
- Knowledge of the requirements of the major donors and experience in reporting to donors.
- Good attention to detail and analytical skills
- Computer literate (i.e. Word, Advance Excel, outlook, Internet Explorer, Financial Systems).
- Cultural awareness and ability to build relationships quickly with a wide variety of people
- Patient, adaptable, flexible, able to improvise and remain responsive and communicate clearly and effectively under pressure.
- Excellent planning, management and coordination skills, with the ability to organise a workload comprised of varying and changing tasks and responsibilities
- Strong communication (written and spoken), and interpersonal skills in English, with experience in managing multicultural teams.
Contract length: Casual Position until September 30, 2021 based in Iligan City
