About SEED Foundation: SEED Foundation is a registered NGO in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. SEED’s mission is to protect, empower, and support the recovery of survivors of violence and others at risk. SEED is committed to delivering high quality, holistic approaches, which combine international expertise and local know-how to achieve results for the people of Iraq and Kurdistan Region. SEED’s programming focuses on three key objectives: 1) the delivery of transformational, comprehensive services including case management, mental health, and legal services, as well as psychosocial support activities; 2) strengthening the capacity of service providers through education, training, and capacity-development programs; and 3) promoting policy and social change to strengthen the rights of, and protections for, vulnerable groups and individuals through public awareness, technical assistance, and advocacy.
SEED Foundation boasts extensive operational experience in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI) while executing various development projects in the area. Within the scope of SEED’s project activities, numerous documents are generated and made available to the public, alongside the organization of working groups and meetings for similar purposes. Given that these documents are originally composed in various languages, there is a necessity to translate them into multiple languages to ensure accessibility to the community. Moreover, the meetings and working groups encompass participants from diverse nationalities, which may result in a lack of a common spoken language. Therefore, for the efficient and seamless execution of these activities, SEED Foundation may find it necessary to engage external service providers to deliver translation and interpretation services.
Purpose of the Tender Dossier:
The purpose of this Tender is to obtain competitive offers and bids for conducting a tendering process which will lead to a Two-Year Framework agreementin KRI within SEED requirements, for Provision of Translation and Interpretation Services (From English to Kurdish Sorani, Kurdish Badini, Arabic, and vice versa).
