Aim of the position:
This TOR is intended to psychologists having the experience and qualification to provide psychological support to beneficiaries according to adapted and specialized knowledge, to accompany and improve the beneficiaries’ wellbeing in these times of crisis, emergency and big distress.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
• Respond to the SAD Call Center (Hotline) and support the families in distress by giving them psychological support
• Respond to the families concerns regarding their children and the situation we are living in
• Implement remote support groups to the caregivers in need
• Support the team in implementing art-therapy sessions to the SAD children, focusing on emotions.
• Implement remote or in presence support groups for parents of children with disabilities and educational difficulties
• Implement remote or in presence support groups for teenagers.
• Implement remote and in presence awareness sessions to group of families in schools and/or municipalities.
• Intervene and follow up the cases of children with special needs in 4 private schools.
Additionnal tasks can be assigned depending on other projects needs.
Essential Requirements:
Experience required:
• 3 years in psychology field (experience in emergency response, traumas and big distress are a plus)
• Previous experience with non-governmental organizations (preferred but not required)
Work experience:
• Preferably experience in NGO (but not required)
Required qualification:
• Bachelor degree in psychology (preferably clinical) (Diploma).
Language:
• Arabic and English Language proficiency (written and spoken).

• Good Organization skills.

• Open-minded, good communication skills, ability to listen, diplomacy.
