RECRUITMENT OF A CONSULTANT.E OR CONSULTANT GROUPS.E-S to conduct a diagnosis of application evaluation « Sexosanté » At United Nations Population Fund

Developed by the ONFP-National Office for the Family and Population, with the support of the UNFPA- United Nations Population Fund in Tunisia, the mobile application « SexoHealth » aims to make young people and adolescents aware of sexual and reproductive health by providing precise information and education on various subjects such as puberty, adolescence, pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, contraception, and many others. In this context, a diagnosis of application evaluation is essential to guarantee its relevance and effectiveness as a mobile educational platform. The ultimate objective of this mission is to’ensure that « SexoHealth » optimally meets the needs of young people and adolescents in matters of sexual and reproductive health, providing reliable information and encouraging meaningful commitment. This will guarantee the effectiveness and positive impact of the application in its contribution to education and awareness-raising. To this end, UNFPA plans to recruit a consultant or groups of consultants ( to conduct a diagnosis of evaluation of Sexosanté.e ( or groups of consultants.es ) to conduct a diagnosis of evaluation of Sexosanté.e ( or groups of consultants.es ) to conduct a diagnosis of evaluation of Sexosanté.

The main objectives of this diagnosis are :

• Identify areas for improvement
• Evaluate user experience
• Evaluate social networks Sexosanté ( Facebook, Instagram and Chaine Youtube )
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of the SexoHealth application.
• Identify growth opportunities and broaden the reach of Sexosanté
• To formulate recommendations on the strategies to be adopted to ensure its upgrading
• Formulate a strategy to promote the application ( Digital Marketing )

Sexosanté falls into the category of digital Learning mobile solutions which have become increasingly popular tools for educating young people and adolescents on several themes and subjects.

The diagnosis of evaluation of these solutions: its use, its promotion, its relevance, and its added value in its environment, and its potential for sustainability and evolution.

The consultant will be required to ensure the inclusion of these following parameters in the diagnosis of Sexosanté

• Content Quality and Relevance: Adaptation, accessibility, link with the learning objectives and the target audience, attractiveness, and effectiveness of the content
• Educational Impact and Learning Objectives: If the application effectively supports learning objectives and results, and collects the evidence on knowledge improvements, skills and behaviors resulting from the use of the application
• User engagement and interaction: Quantification of the level of commitment and interaction with users, analysis of functionalities such as quiz, ludification, and social elements and evaluation of the use of multimedia supports ( videos, animations, etc. ) to strengthen user engagement.
• User Experience and Interface Design: evaluation of the overall user interface of the application, ease of navigation, intuitivity, design, charter, visual and navigation accessibility.
• Technical performance and Stability: including loading time, stability, and reactivity, on several operating devices and systems.
• Availability and Accessibility
• Marketing and Promotion: Analysis of the marketing strategy, and use of promotional efforts, and retention strategies.
• Added Value and Single Wind Points : Identification of existing or potential unique functionalities that differentiate the application of others and whether the application offers added value to users beyond what traditional education methods offer.
• Evolution and upgrade potential
• Technical support and Maintenance: the availability and quality of technical support for users and the ability to solve technical problems.
• Data protection and Security: how the application manages user data, confidentiality and security.
• Environmental impact

Duration of the mission:

50 working days between October 10, 2023 and December 31, 2023, distributed as follows :

1. Documentation and Review Phase ( 5 days ): To be concluded on October 20, 2023

• In-depth review of documents and information regarding the Sexosanté application.
• Study of the objectives, characteristics and scope of the application.
• Analysis of previous reports and available data.

1. Conceptualization phase of Data Collection Tools ( 5 days ): A Conclude October 31, 2023

• Development of a detailed methodology for each evaluation parameter.
• Design of data collection tools, including questionnaires, maintenance guides and analysis criteria.

1. Data Collection, Analysis and Submission of Results Phase ( 25 days ): To be concluded on December 05, 2023

• Data collection from users, interviews, discussion groups, and technical analyzes.
• Analysis of the data collected for each evaluation parameter.
• Preparation of a preliminary report of the results and findings.

1. Presentation and Finalization Phase ( 10 days ): To be concluded on December 25, 2023

• Presentation of preliminary results to stakeholders
• Receipt of comments and feedback from stakeholders.
• Finalization of the overall evaluation report with detailed recommendations.

Deliverables:

1. Global diagnostic report: A full report presenting the results, conclusions and recommendations of the evaluation. It covers user experience, content quality, technical performance, educational impact and ways to improve.
2. Action plan for the Improvement and upgrading of the application and its interface: A detailed plan which proposes specific actions to strengthen user experience, optimize educational content, improve technical performance and maximize the impact of the application.

Animation of a results presentation workshop: A presentation summarizing the results of the evaluation and the recommendations intended for the main stakeholders.

Profile sought:

Education and Experience :

• Higher diploma in education, information and communication technology, social sciences or related fields.
• Professional experience in the evaluation of mobile educational applications, preferably in the field of sexual and reproductive health.
• Professional experience in digital marketing
• In-depth knowledge of the concepts of evaluation, user experience, educational design and data analysis.

Technical expertise :

• Master of the development of mobile applications and digital solutions ( iOS, Android, hybrid frameworks ).
• Knowledge of application design principles, best practices in user experience ( UX ) and design and marketing guidelines for mobile applications.
• Competence in qualitative and quantitative evaluation methodologies.
• Ability to design data collection tools adapted to each evaluation parameter.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret analysis data, usage metrics and user comments.
• Control of ( data analysis tools and techniques Excel, statistical software, data visualization ).

Knowledge and Skills :

• Excellent written and oral communication skills to produce full reports.
• Ability to critically analyze the educational, technical and environmental aspects of an application.
• Knowledge of best practices in mobile application assessment and education.
• Sensitivity to sexual and reproductive health issues, as well as ethical and confidentiality aspects.
• Competence in project management and time management.
• Ability to work independently and in close collaboration with stakeholders.
• Creative thinking and ability to offer improvement solutions.
• Ability to ask critical questions and question traditional approaches.

Languages :

– Perfect master’s degree in oral and written French
