Regional Safeguarding Advisor-Asia At OXFAM GB

Oxfam International,Asia Region is looking for the Regional Safeguarding Advisor who will contribute to the building capacity in relation to safeguarding across the region. This will include work on the prevention of, and response to, safeguarding issues across the region. The Advisor will advocate for the rights of complainants/survivors and work to ensure that they are supported and protected from further harm. The Regional Safeguarding Advisor will work closely with country teams to provide advice and support on embedding safeguarding across Oxfam’s work in the region. They will analyse and share relevant information with other teams across the region and confederation to ensure that safeguarding in the Region is included in strategy and programming globally and regionally as appropriate

Who we’re looking for;

You will have experience in conducting investigations and managing complex cases, demonstrating confidentiality, empathy and sensitivity to survivors and stakeholders involved, with the ability to build personal rapport and trust. You will be skilled in identifying and mitigating risks. You will have strong facilitation and presentation skills, with proven experience in delivering training. Experience working in an international preferably in an INGO context is also a requirement.
