CESVI Foundation is a secular and independent humanitarian organization born in Bergamo in 1985. For almost 40 years it has brought the hearts, generosity and industriousness of Italians to emergencies and the poorest places in the world through projects to fight hunger and great pandemics, for the protection of people and the environment.

With the aim of enhancing the fundraising from regular donors, through the increase and optimization of acquisition activities and the constant improvement of loyalty processes, the CESVI Foundation seeks a Regular Giving Support, which can contribute to the development of the Regular Giving Area through efficient and precise operational support, within the framework of a path constantly oriented towards the acquisition of new skills and professional skills.

The resource will report to the Regular Giving Manager and will work, within the Regular Giving Area, in a team made up of 3 other resources, coordinating in particular in carrying out its activities with the Regular Donor Administrator.

The collaboration will begin in September / October 2023.

Location

Regular Giving Support deals with oversee the operational processes relating to telemarketing activities, including those conducted with a view to service in favor of other functions of the Fundraising & Communication Unit, the path of loyalty of regular supporters, the digital acquisition and loyalty activities of regular donors that require interaction with external interlocutors ( companies, communication agencies and fundraising ). It will also support the Regular Donor Administrator in handling telephone and email requests that will be received from regular donors.

More concretely, the resource will deal with:

  • oversee the start-up of new telemarketing activities, under the supervision of the Regular Giving Manager;
  • oversee the exchange of data with call centers;
  • promptly update the CRM with the results of telephone activities and the information collected by call centers;
  • support, through listening sessions remotely or in presence, the sharing with call centers of possible improvements and optimizations on existing activities;
  • pack and ship Welcome Kits for regular donors;
  • oversee subsequent follow-up activities, through the appropriate ( e-mail and / or sms and / or Whatsapp ) sending platforms;
  • oversee the operational steps relating to the sending of Direct Mailing for regular donors ( exchange of data with suppliers and printers, verification of print tests );
  • manage requests from regular donors ( initially the simplest, such as sending tax reports );
  • support the Regular Giving Manager in the preparation of briefs oriented to the realization of acquisition or loyalty projects ( eg. photo / video image selection, collection of information on projects ) and in the conduct of operational processes relating to these activities;
  • participate in the organization of online and offline events dedicated to regular donors.

In carrying out its activities, the resource will refer to the Regular Giving Manager and coordinate with the Regular Donor Administrator.

Requirements

Essential requirements:

-Attitude to teamwork for achieving common goals

– Ability to organize and plan your work to carry out the assigned tasks within the required timescales

-Precision

-Flexibility and desire to learn, also through the performance of different tasks

-Good communication skills for interaction with interlocutors outside the organization

-Good familiarity with the use of digital tools

– Excellent command of the Italian language, written and oral

-Motivation to work within the Third Sector and to actively contribute to the increase in the Organization’s fundraiser

Desirable requirements

-Past experience as an inbound or outbound telephone operator, within call centers, companies or non-profit organizations

and / or previous experience as a management assistant in companies or non-profit organizations

and / or previous experience as a fundraiser

-graduate or master relating to fundraising or the Third Sector

CESVI pays particular attention to safeguarding the health of all the human resources of the Organization and therefore to protect the collaborator, the assessment of suitability for the position for each mission is envisaged before departure. This assessment will be borne by the competent doctor of the Organization, who will also examine the vaccination covers.
