Job description
The Research Analyst will work with NAMA’s team of research analysts to implement day-to-day activities related to research projects implemented by NAMA. Tasks include conducting secondary research/ literature review, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, producing narrative, descriptive, and analytical reports in both Arabic and English.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including creating graphs to visualize data;
- Draft narrative, descriptive, and analytical reports in both Arabic and English;
- Create research tools, including survey questionnaires, key informant interview discussion guides, and focus group discussion guides
- Conduct desk research to acquire secondary research to support implemented projects in the design of research tools and in reporting
- Implement other tasks, as assigned
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in any of the following fields: Politics, Political Science, International Development, International Affairs, Middle East Studies, Economics, Sociology, Government, or a relevant field
- Quantitative and qualitative research experience is highly desirable
- Demonstrated analytical skills, critical thinking skills, and analytical writing
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic are required
- Knowledge of data analysis tools such as SPSS is a plus
- Knowledge of Jordanian socioeconomic and political affairs is highly desirable
