Here’s where you come in:
As Resource Acquisition Lead, you will be responsible for providing specialist, technical leadership in acquiring new and repeat funding to effectively finance World Vision’s mission in Angola. You will be responsible for leading WV Angola’s efforts to increase its income, diversify its funding base and donor portfolio, and assure programme financing that responds to the needs of the most children in Angola.
Requirements include:
- Master’s degree and/or professional qualification in International Development studies Community Development or any Social Science related degree.
- Computer literate (Operate MS word and Excel and Lotus note)
- Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
- Fluency in both language Portuguese and English and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- 7-10 years experience on negotiation, mediation, conflict analysis and resolution.
- Experience on influencing policy formulation, implementation, evaluation, mobilization for stakeholders engagement in the decision making process.
- Knowledge of the monitoring and evaluation requirements of key institutional donors (USAID, DFAT, WFP, etc.)
