WV Mozambique (WVM) has a large grant portfolio and there is significant potential for further growth. As Resource Mobilization (RM) Team Leader, you will provide overall technical leadership in the development and implementation of WVM Resource Development Strategy and in the acquisition of new government, multilateral and foundation grants to enable World Vision Mozambique to increase its contributions to child well-being and NO strategic objectives through increased revenue in the key priority sectors of Health/Nutrition, Education, Economic Development and Child Protection. You will ensure resource diversification, strengthened donor networking and improved resource acquisition capabilities working closely with Integrated Programs Director, RM team members and technical specialists in each sector.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor degree and/or professional qualification in International Development studies, Community Development or any Social Science related degree.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful grant acquisition from government and multilateral donors including proposal writing, project implementation and a demonstrated ability to prepare and edit high quality reports for major donors.
  • At least 7 years of experience in international development, M&E or a technical sector
  • At least 5 years of strong people management and capacity building experience.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of grant management or backstopping and experience of grant compliance procedures and regulations for major bilateral and multilateral donors.
  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Portuguese.
