ALIMA promotes and defends the principles of fundamental human rights. ALIMA has a zero tolerance approach towards those guilty of acts of gender-based and sexual violence as well as towards inaction in the face of alleged or proven acts of violence. The protection of those benefiting and impacted by our intervention is our top priority in everything we do. Anyone collaborating with ALIMA undertakes to :

CARE – INNOVATE – TOGETHER :Since its creation in 2009, ALIMA has treated more than 7 million patients, and today deploys its operations in 13 countries (12 in’Africa and 1 in Europe). In 2022, we developed 67 humanitarian medical response projects to meet the needs of populations affected by conflict, epidemics and extreme poverty. All these projects are in support of national health authorities through nearly 357 health facilities (including 45 hospitals and 312 health centres). We work in partnership, including with local NGOs, as soon as possible to ensure that our patients benefit from’ expertise where it is located, whether at the level of their country or the rest of the world. In addition, to improve the humanitarian response, we conduct operational and clinical research projects, including,in particular to combat malnutrition and viral hemorrhagic fevers.
THE ALIMA TEAM: More than 2,000 people are currently working for ALIMA. Field teams, as close as possible to the patients, receive their support from coordination teams generally based in the capital of the intervention countries. These are supported by the 3 desk teams and the emergency service team and openings based at the operational headquarters in Dakar, Senegal. The Paris and New York teams are actively working on fundraising as well as representing ALIMA. The rest of the ALIMA Galaxy includes individuals and partner teams working on behalf of other organizations such as the medical NGOs BEFEN, Health Alert, SOS Doctors, KEOOGO, AMCP-SP, PAC-CI, Inserm, the Universities of Bordeaux or Copenhagen, the NGO Solidarités International and many others.

The challenges of the post : In a context of growth in its activity, ALIMA wishes to significantly increase its notoriety, strengthen its image and establish its strategic positioning in the humanitarian sector, in order to establish itself as a reference humanitarian emergency NGO, in the target collection countries ( today: France, USA, UK, Belgium, Switzerland ).
ALIMA wishes in particular to promote its unique partnership model, based on a network of local NGOs, which is unique in the landscape of NGOs. This partnership network allows it to deploy suitable and effective actions on areas that are increasingly difficult to access to other NGOs.
In this context, the Head of Digital Communication plays a central role in communication since’il gives to see as many people as possible, in an attractive and popularized way, L’efficiency of the ALIMA model in the field. In doing so, it plays an essential role in’ALIMA’s ability to stand out and attract the financial support necessary for its action.
PROTECTION OF BENEFICIARIES AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS
Level 3: In the course of his duties, the incumbent of the position will be required to visit the programs and be in contact with children and/or vulnerable adults. Therefore, the verification of the criminal record or the presentation of a certificate of good life and morals will be necessary. MAIN MISSION
In accordance with the strategic guidelines and priorities set by the Director of Communication, you will be in charge of the definition and implementation of the digital strategy, including, development of ALIMA communities, and support for online collection operations.
Your objectives will be both qualitative (developing the visibility of’ALIMA on the web and social networks, and, enhance its image and explain its positioning) and quantitative (increase the’ALIMA audience within the various communities, traffic on the ALIMA site, and contribute to increase online donations..).
You will define and monitor the encrypted indicators of your performance on the different ALIMA platforms (traffic on website, social networks, online donation platform, Google advertising accounts & Microsoft’s).
Within the’ Communication team, you will manage a social media officer (e) and an assistant(e) digital communication.
You will work in close collaboration with the’ team responsible for fundraising (Directorate of Development).
MAIN ACTIVITIES
1- Contribute to define, formalize and implement the digital communication strategy and the digital collection strategy
- Contribute to define, formalize and implement these strategies in connection with’action communication and digital fundraising plans
- To propose a relevant and efficient animation of the whole’alIMA digital ecosystem: website, social networks, newsletters, SMS.. in a logic of loyalty and conquest of’audience.
- Managing the’ digital team within the Communication and collaborating with the’ team responsible for digital collection within the Development, to ensure the smooth running of projects, respecting deadlines and budgets
- Monitoring and’analysis of digital KPIs
2- Optimize the website and social networks
- Pilot and manage the project « new website ALIMA » : collection and analysis of internal needs, formulation of strategic recommendations, operational and technical specifications, drafting of specifications, technical specifications, ’s call for tenders, project management with the provider, coordination and validation with the various entities, directorates and services concerned (ALIMA USA, ALIMA UK, Development/Collection, Operations Country..), migration and redirection to the new site, recipe, maintenance follow-up and technical update with the provider in charge…
- Manage the’update of the website (publication of’articles, updates, …), and the’ SEO optimization of the site (creation of content related to editors, technical optimization, …)
- Coordinate with the Development, which leads the provider in charge of the SEA strategy (management of’Ad Grants & Adwords)
- Develop and animate the different communities on social networks (Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/Linkedin and soon Tiktok) in connection with the social media officer and the’assistant(e) digital communication
- Manage the writing and publication of the editorial calendar with highlights (emergencies, crisis management, annual campaigns), recurring meetings (news Countries and Themes), event lives…
- Manage the design and production of digital graphic media adapted to audiences and channels (templates of social media posts and videos), ensuring their consistency with the graphic charter, and, in connection with teams and service providers
3- Develop and deploy digital communication campaigns, and more broadly digital formats, which are effective
- Coordinate digital communication campaigns responding to the strategic priorities of the Communication Department (notoriety, image, influence/advocacy, employer brand..).
- Develop and deploy digital communication plans on specific projects (research projects, environmental approach..) or highlights (organization of’a conference….).
- Propose and produce actions and digital content multichannel (formats « snacked »), adapted and innovative, relevant and differentiating
- Implement longer digital formats (large formats, Webdocs..).
- Develop and manage the strategy of premium influencesers in France, the USA and the African continent ( in connection with ALIMA USA and our service providers )
- Supervise the writing and sending of the ALIMA newsletter
4- Develop and deploy effective digital collection campaigns
- Build the digital action plan, and digital tools or devices, with Development, to build on existing donors and acquire new donors
- Build the budget and define the assumptions of digital collection in collaboration with the collection team
- Relay and adapt donation calls across all of our digital channels ( website, social networks, e-mailing )
- Deploy online donation activation campaigns, in connection with the collection team and the funding agency
- Be a force of proposal on the implementation of cycles of relational emails and collection emails, managed by the Development
5- Supporting the various services in their digital projects
- Be consulting and support on digital projects driven by other services (internal e-learning platform, recruitment site..).
6- Deliver monitoring and analysis in a logic of continuous improvement’
- Detect new tools, new trends in digital communication and digital collection
COMPETENCES AND EXPERIENCES

Graduate degree in communication with digital specialization
Experiences
- Demonstrated experience of more than 4 years in a similar function
- References in the management of complex digital projects (ex : creation of a website) are required
- A first experience in the field of digital marketing or digital collection is required
- First management experience is required
- Experience in an English-speaking environment and/or the humanitarian or associative sector would be a plus
Knowledge In Languages
Mastery of French and’anglais (read, written, spoken) is essential..

CONDITIONS
Contract duration : Contract of Senegalese law, CDI, with period of’test of 3 months renewable once, or 6 months maximum.
Taking post : As soon as possible
Salary : L’equivalent in CFA Francs about 3.992 € gross (before income taxes levied at source) monthly according to family composition.
