The USAID Project for the Economic Competitiveness of El Salvador will contract, under a fixed-price subcontract scheme, the services of thirty-one (31) technical consultants to support the H-2 Visa Program with the Government of El Salvador.
With this initiative, it is expected to increase the flow of Salvadorans in this program, with an annual goal of 10,000 Salvadorans displaced to US companies through the generation of analysis, filtering and technical reports to promote the labor inclusion of Salvadorans in jobs. temporarily abroad, through regular, orderly and safe migration to the United States. The selected consultants will perform different functions including: selection and recruitment of profiles, monitoring and reintegration, program promotion and management of client relationships.
General Objective: Hire (31) thirty-one technical consultants who generate marketing, analysis, filtering, monitoring and technical reports techniques to promote the labor inclusion of Salvadorans in positions temporary work abroad, through regular, orderly and safe migration to the United States.
Specific objectives:
- Analyze, evaluate, systematize and identify candidates that meet the established criteria for the selection and recruitment of temporary workers abroad, under the H-2 Visa Program.
- Assist in the development of the filtering process, interview, examinations and compilation of documentation necessary to classify potential Salvadoran workers.
- Develop the profile of Salvadoran workers in the indicated format, and in English
- Assist candidates in filling out the forms and submitting the necessary documentation for the application for temporary visas, including the assembly of packages to submit to the United States Embassy.
Required profile of the consultant:
- University academic training or experience in areas of administration, marketing, international relations or related careers.
- Work experience of at least two years in similar positions for temporary H-2 visas or others as applicable.
- Management of office packages, especially Excel and business intelligence programs.
- Desirable with knowledge of employment policies, monitoring and follow-up, preparation of technical reports, national and international labor legislation, business management, international relations, immigration policies, etc.
- Intermediate to advanced level English with certification to prove it.
The duration of assistance is twelve (12) months
