The USAID Project for Economic Competitiveness of El Salvador, implemented by Palladium International LLC, will contract, under a fixed price subcontract scheme, the services of a JUNIOR consultant: “ To support the H-2 Visa Program and operationalize the initiatives framed in it ”.
With this initiative, it is expected to increase the flow of Salvadorans in this program, with an annual goal of 3,000 Salvadorans displaced to US companies through the generation of analysis, filtering and technical reports to promote the labor inclusion of Salvadorans in temporary jobs abroad, through regular, orderly and safe migration to the United States.
General objective:
Support operationalize the different initiatives that arise within the framework of the H-2 Visa Program, including recruitment processes with international employers, profiling assistance, travel monitoring and monitoring.
Specific objectives:
- Assist in the operationalization of alliances with public and / or private organizations necessary to generate more supply of Salvadoran workers within the H-2 Visa Program.
- Assist in the organization, logistics and contracting of local ( recruitment events ), and international events such as fairs to promote the program.
- Support designated contact, point of contact for its acronym in English ( POC ) in the development of relationships with different recruiters at the international level, ensuring the effective recruitment of Salvadoran workers in each of its stages, serving as a link for its operationalization.
- Asistir en el seguimiento y monitoreo de viajes de candidatos, recepción de pasajes aéreos y documentación incluyendo los I797, para completar el proceso de colocación de trabajadores en Estados Unidos.
- Mantener actualizados los diferentes trackers del programa para generar reportes técnicos de forma semanal, mensual o a solicitud de la jefatura inmediata.
Perfil requerido del (la) consultor (a):
- Persona natural, profesional en las áreas de administración, mercadeo, relaciones internacionales o carreras afines.
- Inglés avanzado. Comprobable a través de entrevista.
- Experiencia laboral de al menos dos años como profesional en cooperación internacional de preferencia con conocimientos en programas o proyectos de migración laboral.
- Experiencia trabajando con empresa privada y gobierno.
- Deseable conocimiento de políticas de empleo.
- Deseables conocimientos sobre políticas migratorias.
- Elaboración de informes técnicos.

- Hoja de vida actualizada con la documentación de soporte (Título Universitario, certificación de nivel de inglés, acreditaciones, etc.)
- Copia de DUI, NIT, Tarjeta de IVA.
- Documentación que evidencie la experiencia para sustentar los servicios. Cartas de referencia o constancias de trabajo.
La duración de la asistencia es de cinco (5) meses.

A prequalification of the samples of interest will be carried out based on the minimum requirements. Bidding rules will be sent to people who meet these requirements.
