This is an exciting opportunity for experienced and creative digital communication expert to join us and lead our digital engagement following the upcoming launch of our new organisational website.
Focussing on our key thematic areas of work and advocacy priorities, you will support us to market our expertise, practical information, policy recommendations, and inspiring stories of our work to an international audience of donors, policymakers, peacebuilding, and development practitioners, and other defined stakeholders. You will also provide guidance and support to our country teams with their digital peacebuilding campaigns and projects.
You will have a proven ability to engage a broad range of audiences through high-quality digital content delivered across a variety of digital platforms, with strong expertise in social media and website management. You will demonstrate a strategic approach to delivering digital marketing campaigns, knowledge of SEO best practice, and a user-focused approach to content management.
We will have recently relaunched our website before this role starts and you will be responsible for managing our digital agency and oversee the maintenance of our website. You will be confident in managing agencies and consultants who are required to deliver projects, including writing briefs.
You will be as much a planner as a doer, with the ability to create and deliver content for our social media channels, website, and email lists while thinking about long-term engagement and content plans alongside the Advocacy & Communications team.
In return, you will have the opportunity to work for an innovative charity working with expert peacebuilders across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Experience of working in an international organisation would be a distinct advantage.
