JOB OBJECTIVES:
Within the Institutional Financing Department, you lead the Institutional Financing (FI) France team in support of the FI Director, on the strategic mobilization of institutional financing in France, in particular by proposing a donor strategy and taking charge of the day-to-day management of the portfolio of French and Monegasque institutional donors within a given geographical and/or technical scope.
For that :
- You support operational teams in managing contracts with portfolio lessors
- Updating and registering administrative files with lessors
- Support teams in the day-to-day management of financing contracts
- Ensure the interface role with the institutional lessor in the day-to-day management of financing contracts.
- Support Operational staff in negotiating, signing and managing contracts
- Monitor the quality of contractual information on the internal financial information system.
- You contribute to the search for funding for projects for the organization
- Collect, analyze and disseminate internally knowledge on donors and other institutional actors/partners
- Exchange and negotiate with donors and institutional partners, carry out advocacy actions with these stakeholders and defend the interests of HI
- Identify regular funding opportunities
- Be proactive in identifying program funding needs and potential associated funding sources from donors
- You capitalize on and disseminate information on the lessors in the portfolio and are responsible for ensuring that the latter have a good knowledge of their rules.
- Update administrative and contractual information on portfolio donors in the internal network; and circulate it to operational and technical staff;
- Contribute to the development of training tools and provide training to headquarters and field teams
- You lead the FI France team (2 people) in support of the FI Director.
- Coordinate and monitor the scope of FI France activities. By relying on contributors, of whom you are not a hierarchical manager.
- Follow the action plans established by the FI Director
- Regulate the load on daily tasks, manage priorities and provide answers to the team’s operational questions related to the performance of the activity
- You contribute to the cross-functional files of the FI Directorate
REQUIRED PROFILE:
- With higher education in international cooperation, political science or social sciences, you have at least 5 years of work experience, if possible within an international humanitarian or development NGO.
- Mastery of the NGO environment and the institutional landscape of the portfolio donors is necessary for this position: You have worked on the management of donor contracts and have proven negotiation experience.
- You have good analytical skills and understand strategic issues
- Preferably you have experience in networking, promotion & official representation for collaboration & fundraising
- You demonstrate very good writing skills (in English and French)
- You have a good ability to summarize and communicate and you are a good teacher.
- You are organized and attentive to detail while knowing how to work efficiently and quickly and you know how to manage priorities.
- You know how to work in a team

ACCESSIBILITY OF THE WORKPLACE:
The premises are easily accessible by public transport (bus, metro). A car park and a bicycle park are also available. Within the building, access ramps and elevators guarantee better circulation. All workstations are located in Open Space but boxes are available on each floor to work in peace if necessary. The workspace is very bright.
