Senior Internal Auditor (0832) At Oxfam GB

The Role

Oxfam GB is looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join our UK-based team. You will lead and support on the design and delivery of audits of Oxfam GB’s processes in the UK and our international locations. This will include:

  • Ensuring all audits are planned and conducted in accordance with professional and departmental standards
  • Producing high quality reports for local and senior management and trustees
  • Following up on actions agreed with management to confirm they have been completed

In the course of your work you will develop effective working relationships with senior management and provide advice, guidance and support on risk and control issues to a wide range of staff at different levels of the organisation.

What we are looking for

Our next Senior Internal Auditor will be a professionally qualified auditor/accountant with:

  • Experience of risk-based auditing
  • Highly developed analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including excellent English language skills
  • Ability to deliver to tight deadlines
  • Excellent influencing skills and confidence to challenge senior management
  • Ability to take the initiative and work independently
  • Ability to work in challenging environments
  • Ability to travel anywhere in the world as required (up to 30% of year in total)
  • Right to reside and work in the UK
