Senior Programme Manager- Community Lead Innovation Partnership (CLIP) At ELRHA

Do you have extensive experience of programme management in a humanitarian or international development context? Have you worked on issues relating to localisation, locally-led development or participatory programming? Do you have practical experience of innovation management?

Elrha is looking for a talented Senior Programme Manager to join our Humanitarian Innovation Fund team to manage our Community Lead Innovation Partnership (CLIP). The CLIP supports national organisations, who are well-established leaders in the field of disaster preparedness and emergency response, to carry out community-led innovation programs – providing financial and non-financial support for innovations that are contextually appropriate and locally-owned.

The role involves managing a multi-country partnership with a high degree of joint decision-making, managing the CLIP’s budgets, risks, MEAL, donor compliance and reporting, and external representation of the programme alongside our partners. You would also be working on fundraising and donor management to ensure sustained and effective funding for the programme.

We are looking for exceptional candidates with a good mix of skills and experience in programme management and innovation management. Your application should also demonstrate:

  • Experience of managing and stewarding complex partnerships
  • Experience of all aspects of programme management, including budgeting, governance, compliance and risk.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Alignment with our commitment to locally led programming
  • Proven ability to work inclusively across a range of different working relationships
  • Experience within a humanitarian or international development context

Salaries and benefits

Jobs are positioned within the salary structure based on evaluation. New employees will usually be appointed at the bottom of the advertised range. However, relevant desired experience a candidate brings to a role may also be taken into account when determining the appointed salary. Elrha is committed to paying staff in a fair and equitable way and will benchmark all salary offers in line with the pay of existing staff.
