About ISF

ISF Cambodia (ISF) is a Cambodian based charity with over 15 years of experience using education and sport to change lives. Our aim is to make a fundamental and lasting change in the lives of some of the poorest and most disadvantaged children and their families in Cambodia.

Our Education Programme focuses on children living in Phnom Penh’s poorest urban communities whose extreme poverty means they have never gone to school or have had to drop out. We provide them with quality education and healthcare whilst working closely with their communities to lift entire families out of poverty. Through our grassroots Football Programme, ISF works directly with 3,000 youth, promoting equality and providing opportunities to those marginalised by poverty, disability, HIV and gender.

Job Purpose

ISF is looking for a highly motivated individual who can fulfill the position of Senior Trust Funding Officer (STFO). The STFO sits within the Development Team and will contribute to achieving the team’s fundraising targets through securing and managing income from trusts and foundations.

The STFO will identify trusts and foundations and develop a pipeline of new funding opportunities. This role will also cultivate and consolidate robust relationships with trusts and foundations and will be responsible for drafting and submitting high-quality applications and reports. Although trusts and foundations with the ability to grant significant gifts of five figures are prioritised in the team’s fundraising plan, the STFO will also steward a portfolio of smaller trusts and foundations that grant donations of less than $10,000, but which cumulatively constitute significant income for ISF.

We are looking for an experienced individual with a strong track-record of successful applications to trusts and foundations, and someone with the professionalism, energy, creativity and drive to seek out and make the most of funding opportunities.

The Development Team is a small and close-knit team, so you will need to be both self-sufficient and a team player. You will regularly collaborate with people across ISF, from social workers, to the finance team and operations, as well as our local and international partners. You will be an excellent communicator with a passion for ISF. You will be able to articulate the impact we seek to achieve in a way that is accessible, accurate and compelling in order to ensure that ISF is in the best position possible to keep supporting those most in need to build brighter futures.
