SharePoint Officer At Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance

DCAF – Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance is dedicated to improving the security of states and their people within a framework of democratic governance, the rule of law, respect for human rights, and gender equality. For our Resources Department, we are looking for a dynamic and committed individual to be our next:

Sharepoint Officer (work rate 50%)

  • Location: Geneva
  • Starting date: As soon as possible
  • Duration: 6 months fixed-term contract

The Role

Your role will be to provide Sharepoint support to end-users and to assist the Sharepoint manager during the migration to Sharepoint online including creation of new content.

You may also help with other tasks in relation to the digital workplace in the Microsoft 365 environment.

You will be reporting to the Sharepoint Manager within DCAF’s Resources Department.

Key areas of operation:

  • Support end-users on Sharepoint on-premises (helpdesk, content creation, site administration, managing permissions, troubleshooting workflows)
  • Assist during migration of on-premises content to Sharepoint online
  • Assist in other tasks relevant to the role

Your Experience

  • Excellent functional knowledge of Sharepoint on-premises and Sharepoint online
  • Good Functional knowledge of the M365 application suite (Teams, OneDrive, Forms, Planner etc.)
  • Experience in end-user support
  • Experience with Sharepoint migrations (Sharegate or other third-party software) is an asset
  • Experience with Nintex Forms and Workflow is an asset
  • Experience with Zoom and Teams rooms is an asset

  • Excellent oral and written French and English

Requirement

  • Swiss or EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Switzerland at the time of application is a pre-requisite
