Chain of Hope is an international NGO founded in 1994. Its mission is to strengthen health systems to give everyone, especially children, the same chances for survival and development. Helping the most marginalized children is more than a moral obligation; it is an essential condition for achieving the United Nations 2030 goals for children’s health and well-being.

Position and mission

As part of the modernization of its information systems, La Chaîne de l’Espoir is seeking a Project Manager (MOA Finance) to implement an ERP. To this end, the call for tenders has been split into several modules:

You will take charge of the project from its start, with the phases of drafting the specifications and choosing the integrator and IT solutions having been carried out from December 2024 to March 2025.

The project is expected to start in April and will last 12 months. The final schedule will be defined with the service provider in early April.

Main activities

As a project manager, you will lead all operations necessary for the successful completion of this project in all its dimensions (temporal, human, organizational, technical, contractual, and financial). You will coordinate the work of internal and external contributors across the entire functional and technical scope of the project. You will be responsible for communication and will define the necessary change management plans.

Reporting to the Financial Director, your main activities are the overall organization of the project, you ensure its management and you guarantee the coordination of resources in the validated modalities:

  • Create an internal project team and lead the steering committee
  • Develop and monitor the overall project schedule (phases, milestones, deliverables).
  • Be the interface between the MOE teams (external or internal) and the internal teams, ensure communication with stakeholders
  • Analyze needs and design solutions in close collaboration with technical architects and integrators.
  • Manage the functional deployment of tools, from configuration to testing, through to production, in direct contact with the CDE’s IT and functional teams
  • Ensure the overall functional consistency of solutions.
  • Qualify anomalies noted by operations, projects or users
  • Guarantee the quality of deliveries
  • Validate the test strategy established by the project team
  • Contribute and follow recipe campaigns
  • Implement and monitor the writing of documentation for users (training support, creation of procedures, FAQs, webinars, etc.),
  • Provide training to Key Users and end users in the use of new tools and participate in the continuous improvement of processes.

You ensure the coordination of project contributors:

  • Lead discussions with internal contributors (accounting, management control, purchasing, IT, Management)
  • Supervise relationships with external service providers
  • Manage the contractual relationship with service providers (call for tenders, commercial relations, contracts, legal) with the help of the Legal department.

You define and implement change management plans to ensure smooth, cross-functional and periodic communication on project activities and issues, and support these changes with users:

  • Define and ensure the implementation of change and communication plans
  • Manage the user training plan
  • Guarantee the quality of user documentation (technical and functional)
  • Ensure the management and capitalization of all project files and documents.

Desired profile

Formation

  • Required diploma: Bac +5 in master’s degree in management, project management, IT, management control / Engineering school in the field of IT / Higher business school
  • Knowledge of Finance and Purchasing essential
  • Ability to understand the environment and activities of the association

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Previous successful experience on an ERP deployment project including accounting and purchasing
  • Previous experience in a Financial Department

CONDITIONS

  • 12-month fixed-term contract
