General Description of the Programme:
SENED is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization licensed and registered in Türkiye with the number 27-15-175. SENED Organization was established shortly after the Syrian Nakba and in response to the suffering of millions of Syrian refugees in Turkey as well as internally displaced people in Syria, to alleviate suffering, achieving justice, equality, and freedom, strengthening the role of civil society, and supporting and developing the local community. SENED works in the humanitarian work sectors to support, empower, and educate the community through several programs, takes exceptional care of people with disabilities and their families and defends their issues.
SENED Association emphasizes creating safe, accessible, and participation-encouraging living conditions for individuals’ emotional, intellectual, physical, and social development by focusing on people with disabilities. Beyond the medical perspective on disability, it tries to find solutions to the problems faced by disabled people with a holistic perspective by considering the disabled people, their families, and the society they live in, focusing on the conditions they experience. SENED Association aims to create a safe and supportive environment and space by conducting family-oriented activities to help disabled individuals and their families become stronger, discover their potential and stand by with their children. By collecting data on refugee-disabled people and identifying problems and needs, SENED strives to ensure harmony between disabled refugees and local people with a voluntary, professional team and a community-based approach. All activities, education, research, advocacy, etc., are carried out on platforms created by local and disabled refugee people.
Job purpose:
To implement SNR sessions related to special education that will help build the beneficiaries skills, abilities and improve their educational levels in A’zaz.
Duties, objectives, and competencies:
· Plan, prepare and deliver sessions for the beneficiaries.
· The SNR specialist will evaluate the beneficiaries and make the appropriate diagnosis and recommendations for each case.
· Make an internal or external referral to Sened’s Case management team for cases requiring other interventions that cannot be handled by the specialist.
· Develop the appropriate individual educational plan for each case and identify the goals of rehabilitation process and work to implement this process.
· Set the plan of individual sessions and the objectives to be achieved within the session
· Prepare all necessary tools for the implementation of individual and group sessions properly and with the assistance of Assistant Specialist.
· Implementation of individual and group rehabilitation sessions in accordance with international quality standards.
· Provide periodic reports or when requested by the supervisor specialist.
· Implement awareness sessions for caregivers with the assistance of the Assistant Specialist about the disability of their child.
· Provide Capacity building training sessions, in addition to preparing and sharing the training materials and agendas, to frontline workers in Syria about dealing with persons with disabilities.
Requirements: Essential
· Bachelor’s degree in Humanitarian Response, Development Studies or relevant technical field
· beginner level in the English language
· Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in implementing education projects.
Requirements (desired)
· Good skills in report writing.
· Experience in humanitarian work and principles.
· Good experience in working with PwDs (People with Disabilities)
· Good knowledge of MS Office programs.

Job purpose:
Supervising the implementation of rehabilitation sessions that will help build the capabilities and skills of beneficiaries and improve their educational level.
Duties, objectives, and competencies:
· Planning and preparing for sessions for beneficiaries.
· o A specialist evaluates the beneficiaries and provides the appropriate diagnosis and recommendations for each case.
· o Making internal or external referrals to the Sanad team for cases that require other interventions that the specialist cannot provide.
· o Develop an individual education plan appropriate for each case, determine the goals of the rehabilitation process, and work to implement this process.
· o Develop a plan for individual sessions and the goals that will be achieved in this session
· o Prepare all the necessary tools to properly implement individual and group sessions with the assistance of the specialist assistant.
· o Implementing individual and group rehabilitation courses in accordance with international quality standards.
· o Submit periodic reports or when requested by the relevant supervisor.
· o Implementing awareness sessions for caregivers with the help of paraprofessionals regarding their children’s disabilities.
· o Providing training courses in the field of capacity building, in addition to preparing and exchanging training materials and agendas, for front-line workers in Syria on dealing with persons with disabilities.
· Any other tasks requested by the direct manager.
Requirements: Essential
· Bachelor’s degree in humanitarian response, development studies, or related technical field
· Beginner level in English
· A minimum of two years of experience in a similar position.

· Good experience working with people with disabilities
· Good knowledge of MS Office programs
