Our renowned partner organisation, which has an excellent reputation both regionally and internationally, is a non-profit organisation that has set itself the goal of promoting peace and social cohesion. It does this by supporting peace initiatives and educational projects. With an established network and the active presence of project managers and youth workers throughout Kyrgyzstan, our partner organisation offers an inspiring environment for development professionals. You will be involved in peace policy programmes, impact-oriented planning, monitoring and evaluation as well as diversification of project funds.
IPD is based in Bishkek, an exciting metropolis to build strategic collaborations and partnerships for resource mobilisation.
Job Scope
You will make a valuable contribution to IPD achieving its funding targets, for example by supporting colleagues in the development and implementation of an effective fundraising strategy.
In particular, you are responsible for the following:
- Designing a fundraising strategy for sustainable funding sources
- Advice on identifying and approaching potential donor organisations
- Conception and implementation of training courses in third-party funding
- Specialist advice on project applications, monitoring, evaluation and reporting
- Participation in knowledge management to effectively capture and share findings
- Establishing and maintaining partnerships to increase the visibility of the organisation
Profile
- A relevant degree (at least a Bachelor’s degree)
- Work experience in development project management
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Strong analytical and systemic thinking skills
- Enjoy promoting colleagues and building collaborations
- Sensitivity and interest in the regional conflict context
- Openness and motivation for social integration into the Kyrgyz culture
