Support Service Assistant At Save the Children

Support Service Assistant (Only South Sudanese to apply for this position): (Kapoeta East) one (1) position and Budi one (1)-position

To provide effective, efficient and high-quality logistics support for the field programme sites in line with the Save the Children in Southern Sudan country strategies, policies and guidelines and in line with legal compliance and organisational good practices. She/he will keep close coordination with program teams to ensure adequate support to program needs, she/he will assist logistics officer in conducting, review of documentary and soft records in audit point of view covering each area of logistics she/he will assist Logistics officer in preparing monthly reports, identifying variations if exist, and compiling reports before submitting them to ALM and direct line manager. She/he will Ensure that fleet operation is carried out in compliance with the fleet policy and SOPs pertaining to fleet management are followed and Make sure that activities involved in warehouse operations are fulfilling desired protocols and stocks are staked separately and grant wise and Supervise loading & offloading of all goods received and ensure that required documents are signed and filed according to Save the Children policy. She/he also help logistics officer in local procurements, addressing issues and providing timely support to program requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must have Certificate or Diploma in Logistics and Procurement,
  • Degree will be an added advantage
  • The post holder should have a valid Driving licences.
  • Experience in managing staff.
  • He/she should have at least 1 – 2 years’ experience working with International Non- Governmental organization or National NGO
  • Excellent numeracy skills.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English Language.
  • Good human relation skills.
