The Role

The successful candidate will be able to develop and manage inspiring supporter journey(s) for key Oxfam supporter groups, ensuring that their relationship with Oxfam is strengthened over time and that opportunities to diversify their support are maximised.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be/have:

  • Demonstrable experience of managing direct marketing programmes, especially in terms of individual giving supporter retention and donor development.
  • Understanding of the principles and practices of supporter/customer relationship development and journey creation.
  • Project management skills, with proven experience of planning, implementing and evaluating supporter communications activity across a range of channels. Experience of managing performance of others and helping people to develop, grow and achieve their potential, including increasing diversity and inclusion in teams and / or workplaces.
  • A supporter centred approach and the ability to build relationships. Positive and solutions focused with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate Oxfam values.
  • Demonstrable experience of audience listening, research and insights techniques.
  • High levels of numeracy and experience of budget management.
