JOB PURPOSE:

The purpose of this position is to coordinate all the construction and maintenance works under the SWM project, in addition, to provide excellent communication skills and technical knowledge to deal with GIZ construction HQ and consultants, the responsibility of this role is to ensure quality and comply the GIZ requirements.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES;**

Coordinate all the construction works;

· Daily coordination of the construction works.

· Working plans should be prepared on daily / weekly and monthly basis.

· Preparing contractors permits and any topics related to the construction.

· Documentation of all the required documents and follow GIZ regulations include daily proper receiving.

· Ensure fully handover as per the completion of work adhering to GIZ regulations.

· Highly coordination with the design office and contractors.

· Full knowledge of working/reading AutoCAD drawings and to ensure high quality

· Highly coordination with the camp management, other sectors and SRAD to ensure meeting the camp requirements in effective way including the meetings.

· Apply innovative solutions to enhance the effectiveness of operations from

· engineering perspectives

· SCM Department is supported the way that the most cost effective vendors are chosen by an excellent technical evaluation skill.

· Adhering to GIZ requirements and approvals on the design, implementation phases, implementation concept, terms of reference and other requirements,

· Preparing plans related to the needed renovations at the green centre.

· Highly coordination with the project team to ensure covering the needed maintenances at different site locations.

· ensure a full understanding for the donor requirements and full implementation on the field.

Technical designs and budget follow up in coordination with PM;

· Fully understanding of the designs and AutoCAD documents

· Detailed technical designs, BOQs and estimates related to construction are prepared under supervision the engineer.

· Evaluation of the construction result, support evaluation of projects is done regularly

· Monitor project and construction expenses according to bill of quantity, project budget and World Vision financial procedure.

· Prepare project and contractors invoices within time and budget

· Work closely with the finance team and SCM on the project invoices and regulation

· Improvement operation maintenance plan and initiative solutions in coordination with SCM.

Reporting, Any other tasks by the line manager,

· Ensure highly reporting and fully coordination with the PM

· Ensure Highly reporting to GIZ HQ in coordination with PM

· Representation of World Vision- SWM project in meetings is ensured on a request of the project manager with relevant stakeholders.

· Highly coordination with the camp management, other sectors and SRAD to ensure meeting the camp requirements in effective way including the meetings.

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

Required Professional Experience;

· Infrastructure Experience

· Minimum 3 year of managerial experience

· Minimum 1 years of working experience in the camp

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification;

· Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or any related fields.

· Strong engineering technical skills

· Knowledge and practical user of engineering software

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications;

· Understanding of SWM issues in the country and in the refugee camp

· Excellent communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships

· Ability to transmit information correctly with accountability and maintain confidentiality

· Ability to work under pressure

· Creative with coming up with new ideas & solutions

Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement; Azraq Camp 90%, Office 10%

Language Requirements; Excellent knowledge of Arabic and English
