A successful candidate will have the following:
FH seeks an experienced Systems Practice Specialist professional who will lead the adoption of systems practice across programs, ensuring high-quality implementation to drive transformation that positively impacts the well-being of children, families, and communities. The Systems Practice Specialist will build organizational capabilities to design, develop, and deliver holistic, sustainable solutions that apply Systems Practice in alignment with the new Program Model and Design Methodology. The qualified Systems Practice Specialist will have 5+ years of progressively increasing technical responsibility, preferably with expertise in Systems Practice and experience designing, conducting, or collaborating with formative research as it pertains to map systems.
Additionally, the top candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and:
● A vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a Christian commitment to serving the poor, and in full agreement with FH’s Christian beliefs.
● Demonstrated skills in program design & development preferably using systems practice across several technical sectors and development areas.
● Experience in developing systems map as a tool for visualization and understanding of complexities.
● Knowledge in designing systemic solutions including effective use of mapping tools and Human Centered Design (HCD).
● Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
● Ability to travel up to 35% of time domestically and internationally, to insecure countries or locations.

What you’ll do…
As the Systems Practice Specialist, you will:
● Lead the deployment of Systems Practice to create solutions that transform systems and foster an enabling environment for achieving desired outcomes.
● Support the design of monetizable value-driven products and services related to Systems Practice that enable FH to gain comparative and competitive advantage in the market.
● Forge a new path that repairs these structural imperfections and equips the people we serve to have agency, and ownership of resources to be resilient and flourish.
● Provide demand-based, high-quality professional services for operational excellence using systems practice.
● Provide demand-based technical backstopping and supportive supervision for programming applying systems practice.
● Develop research and learning agenda for Systems Practice.
● Create a community of practice around Systems Practice.
● Generate evidence of effectiveness for Systems Practice through periodic research and innovation.
● Document FH’s systems practice approach and work with country teams to develop and disseminate case studies and thought pieces on our Systems Practice work and that of our partners.
● Establish the organization as a thought leader in Systems Practice by participating in public forums and meeting with potential new partners to help tell the FH’s story.
