Team Leader – Aquaculture governance and database expert At Development Aid

DRS is looking for a Team Leader to work on the Programme for Sustainable and Inclusive Growth in the Fisheries Sector: Aquaculture Component in Cambodia.

The aim of the project is to support the Aquaculture project in developing its axis of intervention on sector governance, by building the capacity of the Fisheries Administration (FiA) to implement and operate effectively on this new regulatory framework and to conduct related Monitoring and Evaluation.

Job Title: Team Leader, full-time

Contract: fixed-term contract; with possible extension

Location: Cambodia, Phnom Penh

Starting date: as soon as possible

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree in Marine Biology, Fisheries Science or Aquaculture.

Experience:

  • Broad experience in implementing and monitoring governance activities in developing countries.
  • Broad experience in implementing, running, and updating databases.
  • Minimum of 10 years of working experience in the sector.
  • Working experience in monitoring and evaluation in developing countries and particularly SEA.
  • Working experience in developing sector-level data collection systems (including online data collection systems) and statistics.
  • Working experience in training and transfer of technologies to private government officers and producers in developing countries and particularly SEA.
  • Working experience with public institutions.
  • Good writing skills and experience in developing strategic papers.
  • Good command of English.
