Team Leader – Disaster Resilience Program At Tetra Tech

The Position
The DRP Team Leader (TL) is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of the program to achieve high quality and sustainable disaster resilience development results, according to the Design to support MRMDDM’s strategic priorities and strengthen DFAT’s bi-lateral relationship with GoF. The TL will be a strong advocate for DFAT’s cross-cutting themes including GEDSI and Climate Resilience.

The TL will be a member of the Facility’s Management Group (MG) and will be a champion for Facility cross-cutting themes and accountable for ensuring program implementation compliance with Facility/Tetra Tech policies and procedures across the program and alignment with relevant DFAT.

The Person
To be successful in this role, you will have Masters level qualification related to Disaster Management, Humanitarian response, or other relevant field or equivalent professional experience, and be a dynamic and experienced leader. You will have demonstrated experience in planning and managing disaster mitigation, preparedness and response programs in developing countries, preferably field experience relevant to working in the Pacific context.

We are seeking candidates who have excellent program leadership and management skills including demonstrated ability to successfully build and manage relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior donor and Government officials.

They will be required to demonstrate an outstanding experience in program management of disaster resilience program delivery, including planning and implementation of results, financial management and reporting. Ideal candidate will be required to demonstrate sensitivity to other cultures, and commitment to Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI), child protection and the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH).
