Technical Coordinator for Sustainable Agriculture, Environment Protection and Climate Change (m/f/d)

Start Date: as soon as possible

Term: open-ended

Type of employment: full-time or part-time

Location: Germany (Weiterstadt or Berlin) or remote

Your tasks:

  • Conceptual design and technical advice for colleagues and partner organizations in the programme focus area of sustainable agro-ecological food production, livestock farming and livelihoods
  • Conceptual design and technical advice in the areas of environmental protection, climate change adaptation and mitigation, resource management and nature-based solutions
  • Participation in internal and external technical working groups and networks (e.g. ADRA Germany Resilience Working Group, ADRA Network Technical Learning Labs)
  • Contribution to ADRA Germany’s goal of increasing the socio-ecological resilience of communities in our partner countries
  • Contribution to ADRA Germany’s goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2030

Your profile:

  • At least 3 years of relevant practical experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of climate resilient agricultural practices, as well as community engagement and agribusiness ( value chain development, market and private sector linkages´ – e.g. farmer field/market schools) is an advantage
  • Very good language skills in English; German and other language skills are an advantage
  • Very good analytical and conceptual skills
  • Very good culturally sensitive advisory skills
  • Presentation and networking skills
