Technical Experts for USAID West Bank & Gaza Accountable Local Governance Activity At Tetra Tech

Tetra Tech International Development (International Development Jobs – Tetra Tech) is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for various potential positions on an upcoming USAID-funded activity in West Bank & Gaza. The project office will be located in Ramallah. Candidates based throughout West Bank & Gaza will be considered.

Position Description/Summary: The purpose of the Accountable Local Governance Activity is to strengthen local government units to deliver improved service and increase the effectiveness of their operations, better manage resources, engage with their constituents, and enhance accountability and transparency in municipal governance.

We are recruiting for the following roles:

* Technical experts in municipal service delivery, public financial management, institutional capacity building.

* Technical experts in civic engagement, anti-corruption, and social accountability.

* Administrative experts in grants, procurement, accounting, security, and operations.

* Civil engineers, and experts in environmental compliance.

Qualifications:

* Minimum bachelor’s degree in a field related to the position of interest.

* Minimum three (3) years of relevant professional experience in West Bank & Gaza.

* Experience on USAID or other donor-funded projects preferred but not required.

* Proven track record of collaborating with a diverse array of stakeholders (including governments, the private sector, local organizations), and integrating social inclusion with women, youth, and other vulnerable populations.

* Professional fluency (written, oral) in English required.

* Candidates from West Bank & Gaza are strongly encouraged to apply.
