INTRO

RKV-International (RKVI) helps sister associations to perform impactful activities, within the expertise domains First Aid, Blood, Disaster Preparedness and Disaster Response. For this purpose, products are developed for each expertise domain, which are then transferred to the sister association via projects.

FUNCTION

The Technical Project Manager develops scientifically substantiated products with the priority domain of expertise First Aid, but he/she is also involved in the domains Blood and Disaster Preparedness. The Technical Project Manager supports the application of these products within projects with sister associations, both in the design and implementation phase. He/she builds relationships with foundations in the context of financing. In this way, RKVI guarantees effective, scientifically substantiated products according to the principles of evidence-based practice (EBP) and impactful activities in the field.

Concretely:

  • Building knowledge within the First Aid expertise domain and translating this into concrete products
  • Consulting and conducting scientific research within the domain of expertise
  • The translation of knowledge and expertise into an efficient and effective product & project design
  • Putting RKV-I on the map with regard to the domain of expertise and the EBP approach
  • The Technical Project Manager represents RKV at technical forums and guarantees visibility for RKV’s expertise and products, and the achievements within the project.
  • The Technical Project Manager contributes to the achievement of new project contracts and additional financing for RKV, and takes responsibility for shaping specific project proposals.

PROFILE

Essential for this position is an affinity with First Aid, experience with project management (preferably in an emergency response context) and good communication skills.
