Bioforce is looking for a Skills Training Management Officer for its center based in Dakar (Senegal).

THE INTERNSHIP.

Context

Bioforce is looking for an intern for its Africa entity located in Dakar (Senegal) to participate in the implementation of skills training (FCP).

Your main missions will be to support the FCP Coordination in the implementation of training organized by Bioforce Africa, in West and Central Africa.

Highlights of this position? Varied activities to strengthen the capacities of those involved in responding to humanitarian crises, numerous human contacts, all in an international, stimulating and value-based environment.

Activities.

Under the supervision of the skills training coordinator, your missions will be to:

Support the management of the administrative and logistical organization of the FCPs (on site at the CFBA, or decentralized)

  • Monitor and verify documents to be received from participants in short training;
  • Prepare and send, as needed, the documents required for holding training courses: updating the photo directory, grouping together educational documents, grouping together different forms (e.g.: evaluation form), scanning and sending to the partner in electronic form, etc.;
  • Ensure the smooth running of FCP sessions in Dakar (printing of administrative, educational and assessment documents; preparation of USB keys for learners; and distribution to participants);
  • Ensure the recovery, validation and sending, to participants or trainers, of logistical or organizational information, before and during training sessions;
  • Participate in monitoring assessments during training sessions held in Dakar;
  • Participate in the development of management documents for training sessions (on-site or decentralized), trainers, etc.

Support the collection, analysis and archiving of FCP monitoring data

  • Collect evaluation forms from partner/trainer/participants;
  • Enter the information relating to each assessment in the dedicated Excel files;
  • Scan evaluation forms and archive them in a logical and centralized manner so that they are easily accessible;
  • Participate, with the Management Officer and the FCP Coordinator, in the development of new tools for collecting and analyzing FCP session evaluations.

DESIRED PROFILE.

Knowledge & Experience

Knowledge of the training environment will be a plus

You have a good command of office tools (Word, Excel, Libre Office) and a good ability to learn how to use management software.

Having an interest in the humanitarian sector will be an advantage and a source of motivation for you.

Formation

You have a BAC+2 or 3 level in HR, Administration, Management or equivalent.

Qualities

You are organized, rigorous, a good listener and able to make suggestions.

You know how to be patient, educational and you know how to make yourself available.

You have a real team spirit.
