Training on gender perspective and support for partners in implementation At Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Deutschland eV

General Objective:

Develop advice for partners on mainstreaming the gender approach in the program’s activities, indicators and objectives, which includes the design and implementation of a training process for partners and Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPD) on the gender approach in projects.

Specific Objectives

1. Strengthen the capacities of partner organizations, OPDs and risk management committees on gender issues.
2. Accompany and advise partners on mainstreaming the gender approach in the program.
3. Develop and implement the empowerment index for women in OPD and risk management committees as an initial baseline for the programme, with monitoring mechanisms and instruments.
4. Conduct a critical analysis of gender, age and disability indicators within the program, identifying challenges and recommendations.

The training and professional experience of the consulting team (minimum 2 people) will be assessed according to the following components:

• Professionals with university or other training in gender issues.
• With at least 3 years of experience in developing training or consulting on gender focus in projects.
• Knowledgeable about the Central American context.
• Ease in establishing good interpersonal relationships.
• Fluency in oral and written communication in the Spanish language.
• Ability to analyze, synthesize and write documents.
• Professionals who respect diversity. Experience managing online/in-person training strategies and teams.
