SOS Village d’Enfants Centrafricaine is currently looking to recruit to fill the position of Senior Accountant of its national management.

Mission :

Under the supervision of the Finance and Control Manager, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for:

· Ensure the budgetary management of the organization’s projects;

· Ensure the proper functioning of the processes aimed at safeguarding the Organization’s heritage;

· Ensure the verification and monthly payment of salaries;

· Manage OMNI;

· Consolidate and control all financial data of the National Association;

· Prepare the annual financial statements in accordance with the standards of the Organization;

· Monitor the Organization’s receivables and payables;

· Monthly analysis of the order accounts;

· Manage the Organization’s treasury;

· Validate the financial reports of the projects with restricted funds;

· Ensure the annual physical inventories of fixed assets and stocks;

· Keep the monthly accounts of the entire National Association and ensure the reliability of financial information;

· Carry out control missions on the various sites;

· Ensure the smooth running of external audit missions;

· Contribute to the control of activities, the effectiveness of operations and the efficient use of the resources made available to the organization;

· Supervise the team of accountants under his responsibility;

· Contribute actively to the implementation of child safeguarding activities within SOS Villages d’Enfants Centrafrique.

Profile and skills

· Hold a minimum Bac+5 in accounting, management, finance, etc.;

· Have at least 6 years of professional experience in accounting and financial functions with at least two (2) years in a position of responsibility;

· Excellent technical knowledge of financial management, cost analysis and budgeting;

· Have a good knowledge of donor/donor financing procedures;

· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage a team;

· Ability to work in a multicultural environment

Have a perfect command of accounting software including Navision and the Microsoft pack (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

· Experience in a similar position in an international organization would be an asset.
