YOUR JOB AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the responsibility of the Deputy Country Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, relevance and scaling up of the WASH strategy and interventions on the mission, in compliance with ACF and international standards and national policies. .
More specifically, your missions will be:
– Contribute to the definition of the country strategy, and to the definition of the strategy and positions of the WASH technical department;
– Coordinate the identification of needs and the formulation of project proposals;
– Support the implementation and ensure the reporting of programs/projects;
– Guarantee the quality and accountability of projects;
– Ensure the active participation of ACF in national sector coordination, technical platforms and develop sector partnerships;
– Manage the teams;
– Promote capitalization, technical development and research within the WASH department.

YOUR PROFILE

You hold a higher education diploma (Bac + 5) in Engineering in a field related to WASH; You have at least 5 years of international professional experience in a similar function, in coordination of humanitarian programs; Experience in an emergency context are required; You have good interpersonal skills, particularly for coordination, also good team management and partnership skills; You demonstrate good project budget monitoring skills and you have proven experience in project cycle monitoring, budget monitoring and needs assessment; You have technical expertise and are able to transfer your skills and knowledge.

YOUR CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

– Fixed-term contract of 12 months, according to French or Chadian labor law contract.
