Know our team
Nutrition International’s Program Operations Unit is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of Nutrition International’s core program interventions including program development, design, planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting, and grant management, including setting annual operational planning, budgeting and review processes. The unit comprises a global team of professionals located in our 10 core countries across Asia, Africa and our headquarters in Ottawa, Canada.
About you
You are someone who has the ability to multi-task and work under pressure. You are organized and has strong numeracy, data manipulation and analytical skills. You have a bachelor’s degree in nutrition, public health, international development and/or a related field. You have at least 1 year of relevant office work experience with program support, administration, and reporting.
About the role
In this role you will:
- Assist staff in preparing all necessary documentation related to program activities including contracts, purchase orders, budget reallocations, project reports, and project summaries.
- Assist in processing and contracting consultancy assignments or monitoring surveys including preparation of contracts, approval forms, drafting terms of reference (TOR), booking flights, checking invoices, preparing payments, timely submission of reports and other follow-up action.
- Lead on the planning and management of events – including travel and venue bookings.
- Assist with the organization and logistics of conference calls, meetings and workshops (internally and externally).

This is a one-year contract position.
