CODE OF CONDUCT

MedGlobal Code of Conduct reflects the profession’s core set of beliefs and values of care, respect, trust, and integrity. These beliefs and values are fundamental to MedGlobal employees, volunteers, interns, consultants, officers’ coordinators, and directors to guide their practice and conduct.

The Code is organized into categories, as follows:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintains receiving warehousing and distribution operations by initiating coordinating and enforcing program, operational policies, and procedures.
  • Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling them with the data storage system.
  • Maintain Physical Conditions of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts inspecting equipment issuing orders for repair and requisition for replacement.
  • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees follow-up on work results.
  • Analyze the execution of operations according to different warehousing situations and contingencies.
  • Analyze the information flow for end-to-end warehouse processes from order initiation to receiving, handling, distribution, and storage.
  • Evaluate cargo consolidation solutions to optimize space, cost, and efficiency.
  • Evaluate cargo handling schedules that consider timeline and resource factors.
  • Evaluate methods and techniques to manage dangerous goods.
  • Evaluate methods and techniques to manage time and temperature-sensitive cargo.
  • Evaluate warehousing standards for quality management systems.
  • Manage warehouse planning methods, warehouse storage, and layout plans.
  • Perform safety and health risk assessment.
  • Plan continuous improvement activities and performance improvement strategies.
  • Contributes team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed. Any other relevant tasks upon the request of the Direct Manager.

Requirements and Skills:

Warehouse Officer should have the following skills, education, and experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a related field.
  • University degree in business management, logistics, supply chain, procurement, or any other related field.
  • Strong communication and language skills, including but not limited to proficient spoken and written Arabic and English.
  • Familiarity and good knowledge of social, political, and economic conditions in the country of operation.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with the HQ Office, the Field Office, other international NGOs, and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of humanitarian principles, standards, and relevant issues.
  • Able to work under pressure and multitask amongst chores.
  • Excellent team player, proactive, and able to work in a multicultural environment.
