Job Summary:
You will provide leadership, technical analysis, and support to Ayiti Pi Djanm staff in all areas related to youth livelihoods and activities, in line with the Youth Engagement Strategy and Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Program Quality Principles and Standards, USAID guidelines, and industry best practices, to advance the delivery of quality programs to vulnerable people. Working closely with technical experts, your skills and knowledge will help determine the effectiveness, adaptability, and innovation of Ayiti Pi Djanm/RFSA project interventions.

Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure coordination of all activities aimed at youth engagement.
• Manage the strategy, system and tools for youth livelihood activities, with a focus on knowledge acquisition, management, documentation and dissemination.
• Provide technical solutions to the Ayiti Pi Djanm project for strategic planning and how best to apply program design and implementation standards, best practices, partnership principles, tools, as well as monitoring, evaluation, learning and accountability to ensure high-quality implementation.
• Lead the adjustment and implementation of the livelihood, youth and social dynamics engagement strategy while ensuring the consideration of gender-transformative approaches adapted to youth and the project context.
•Contribute to capacity building, mentoring and coaching of project staff and partners by contributing to the development of learning and training strategies and programmes that ensure the integration and empowerment of youth and women.
•Lead the review and adaptation of curricula for all training related to entrepreneurship, risk management, practical skills and leadership development.
•Contribute to the inclusion of vulnerable groups such as youth, persons with disabilities and women in all RFSA project activities, including those implemented by partners.

•Review the project’s monthly, quarterly, and annual report and ensure it captures disaggregated data and learning on livelihoods, youth, and social dynamics. Monitor changes in gender and youth dynamics over time, including unintended outcomes.
•Assist the project team in ensuring that CRS and partners meet USAID/BHA requirements on gender, youth, and social dynamics.
•Lead the collection, analysis, and use of information from a wide range of sources, including reports, discussion papers, and case studies, and successfully integrate gender and youth, social dynamics, and dissemination of project-related learning.

Education, Experience and Abilities Required
Education and Experience
– Degree in Business Management, Social Sciences, Development Sciences or other related fields;
– Minimum of three to four years of relevant professional experience in an international NGO, with at least two years of experience as a Project Manager;
– General knowledge of technical principles and concepts of entrepreneurship and practical skills;
– Skills and experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Accountability desired;
– Experience working with partners in the application of participatory methods aimed at community involvement;
– At least two (2) years of experience working in the youth sector;
– Experience in designing and delivering training sessions;
– Must be able to work independently and be able to represent CRS;
– Knowledge of the requirements and regulations of major donors;
– Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), online conferencing applications and knowledge sharing networks.

Foreign Language Required/Desired: French and Creole (English is an asset)
Travel Required: The position is based in Port-au-Prince or Fort Liberté with frequent travel to other project sites in the South and Northeast. Field travel expected up to 70%.
Key Working Relationships:
Supervision: Two (2) Senior Youth Engagement Officers Internal: Project Director, Strategic Learning Advisor, Senior Resilience and Sustainability Advisor, Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Accountability Manager, Private Sector Engagement Manager, Senior Resilience Officers, Resilience Officers, and GBV and Protection Project Officer. External
: Public and private partners, government agencies and local authorities, project participants and community leaders.
