Empresa de Transformación Agraria, SA, SME, MP, parent company of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in work related to rural development and nature conservation, seeks to incorporate 1 WASH (Water and Sanitation) Technician for an International Cooperation project in Madrid.

Functions and Tasks
- The tasks that the hired person must perform will be the following: – Manage WASH material at the START hospital, both in the tasks of coordinating the WASH team and in the real-time adaptation of these teams and the hospital’s equipment to international standards.
- Design and calculate WASH facilities and services in hospital areas within the international regulatory framework.
- Create new START team technical guides and protocols on WASH, correcting and keeping existing ones up to date.
- Prepare the materials, equipment, and documentation necessary to provide training to START team staff, enabling them to perform their work efficiently during hospital deployments and specialized missions. Conduct training delivery. Design and adapt the content, materials, equipment, and documentation for international WASH-EMT meetings required by the Office of Humanitarian Aid (OAH) as institutional strengthening and development support for other countries.
- Control the stock of materials, equipment, and consumables; manage their maintenance and repair tasks.
- Participate and support WASH coordination during OAH emergency response outreaches with START Hospital or other interventions designated by OAH.
- Define the technical specifications for the procurement of materials, consumables, and WASH equipment. Implement procurement documents and other purchasing procedures, manage contracts, and manage collaborations for maintenance and repair of materials and machinery.

Degree
- Possess an Engineering degree, a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technical Engineering + an Official Master’s degree in Engineering, a Bachelor’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree + an Official Master’s degree in one of the following fields: Biology, Chemical Sciences, Environmental Sciences or Physical Sciences (degree approved in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities) (Level 3 MECES)
Languages
- English, Minimum Level B1 (the level will be verified during the Selection process).
Previous Experience
- At least 9 years of work experience in WASH (water and sanitation)
Other Essential Requirements
- Availability of hours to respond to emergencies as well as to travel abroad for short and medium-term periods
- Type B driving license valid in Spain
