About the Association:

An independent, non-governmental association that seeks to spread awareness, provide advice, and promote the rule of law to reach free democratic society in which justice and equality prevail

The Admin & HR Officer has to carry out the following tasks:

Adhering to all SCDD policies in force, promoting their applications and ensuring compliance with local labour law as well as with SCDD HR internal processes

Acting as the primary point of contact for HR matters and handle HR related queries from staff to resolution or escalation as necessary

Responsibility for all HR and Admin related communications to the office, under the supervision of the CEO

Working to ensure offer letters and contracts are prepared and issued in a timely manner

Responsibility for planning and ensuring systematic induction for all new staff ensuring that induction plans are signed off and filed in the staff personal file

Monitoring probation periods and reviews and ensure outcomes are communicated formally.

Working to draft employment letter and contract addendum

Responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of all aspects of the country HR Administration local processes

Tracking attendance, leave, eligibility and balances of all staff ensuring records are kept updated as per organizational requirements

Working with the SCDD team members to support projects within the organization e.g., the Staff Engagement Survey / development of the HR system, etc

Plan, implement and oversee human resource operations, such as recruitment, training, briefing and assessment sessions, and staff development

Update the organizational chart, job descriptions for the project, and assist in preparing annual planning for holidays and leaves in order to forecast human resource requirements

Developing human resources policy

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and experience required:

University degree in social sciences, business administration or any related university degree

Experience in the field of human resources in NGOs and non-profit organizations

Computer Skills: Good knowledge of computer science including working in Excel, Outlook Word programs

Good level in (Kobo – Power Bi- google drive).

Ability to adhere to high professional ethical standards in different work environments

Fluent in Arabic and English reading, writing and speaking.

Effective communication skills

The ability to complete the work within a specified time
