General goal of the job:
· Under the supervision of the Project Manager, he will be responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, tracking and reporting of Child Protection project activities, and the Assistant Project Manager will work closely with supporting departments, partners and the field team to ensure that the necessary support is provided to the activities.
· Ensure implementation and documentation in accordance with management and donor requirements, and provide monthly reports with high quality and transparency.
· Provide technical support and supervise PSS and case management activities completely and correctly and in conformity with standard operating procedures and donor requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Ensure high quality case management activities are implemented.
· Provide quantitative and qualitative reports for case management with accuracy and high quality in a timely manner.
· Determining weakness criteria, case management steps, and supervising cases and case management files within the project.
· Supervising and directing the case management team on a daily basis and conducting weekly meetings to ensure that cases are properly assessed and followed up
· Attending child protection and case management trainings and meetings and employing them to serve the project activities.
· Coordinating with the project manager and providing updates on the implementation of the activities implemented in the child protection centers.
· Weekly and monthly plans in coordination with the supporting departments.
· Follow up the implementation of project activities with the field team in accordance with the relevant plans.
· Identify challenges and propose solutions to ensure effective and successful implementation of activities in a timely manner.
· Provide numerical and narrative reports of project activities on a monthly basis to the project manager in a timely manner.
· Develop and monitor project budget and expenditures.
· Raise purchase requests to the procurement department in coordination with the project manager.
· Communicate with the Procurement Department, Human Resources, Security and Safety, Monitoring and Evaluation and all stakeholders regarding the implementation of project activities.
· Perform any other tasks assigned by the project manager.
· Maintaining confidentiality of work, commitment to the ethics and principles of humanitarian work, and commitment to protection principles in the implementation of all activities.
· Comply with the rules of the Code of Conduct and the Child Protection and Sexual Exploitation Policy and a high obligation to report any exploitation or abuse that occurs within the project
Required qualifications:
· University degree in Sociology/Psychological Counseling or equivalent experience
· At least three years’ experience in managing child protection projects
· At least three years’ experience in supervising case management activities and PSS as well.
· Familiarity with and adherence to humanitarian and minimum standards for child protection and the PSEA policy.
- Strong knowledge in reporting.
- Strong knowledge in project management cycle
· Fluency in English (spoken and written)
· Turkish nationality is Required
