Full/Part-Time: Full Time.

SCOPE OF WORK

To ensure effective monitoring and reporting of project activities and tasks to achieve project goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

I. Project Monitoring & Reporting

  • Reporting on project activities and expenditure ensuring best reporting standards.
  • Provide proofreading -in French- and editing support to the program teams to ensure highest quality of reporting.
  • Preparing of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Preparing adhoc/spot reports as needed and requiring in collaboration with necessary departments
  • With guidance from the program team, supports the Monitoring and Evaluations team on documenting and monitoring project outcomes.
  • Participate in Project review.
  • Participating in developing project documentation.
  • Actively assist and participate in project events (meetings/workshops/trainings).
  • Undertake other program administration tasks as and when necessary.

II. Internal Communications

  • Prepare and participate in periodical meetings
  • With guidance from the program manager, provide the update for the database (donors, consultants, networks)
  • Coordinate with project teams in documentation of projects’ achievements

III. External Communications

  • Assist in project special events together with the Programs team
  • Support in the production of communications tools: video clips, leaflet, press release/ press kit, database
  • Support in organization of visits (of donors, home and support office personnel, other visitors)

· Perform other relevant duties assigned by direct Line Manager.

Note: the above-mentioned responsibilities are illustrative ones. Another future responsibilities/accountabilities may be assigned to the job depending on the department’s organizational chart or title.**

Qualification (Education/Work Experience)

A. Essential:

  • Bachelor degree (BA, BS, etc.) in social development, business administration or related field, MA degree is preferred.
  • At least 3 year’s experience in a humanitarian context with a focus project management, Monitoring & Evaluation and reporting.
  • Fluency in French and Arabic. Strong writing skills in French language are required. English is very desirable.

B. Desirable:

  • Master degree (BA, BS, etc.) in social development, business administration or related field, MA degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 year’s experience in a humanitarian context with a focus project management, Monitoring & Evaluation and reporting.
