Purpose of the position

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, development, management, monitoring, reporting, coordination and quality of the overall portfolio. S/he will coordinate with coordinate between departments at KP and partners regarding the project requirements and insure the implementation of inhouse procedure and policies.

Primary Responsibilities of this position:

  1. Preparing detailed plans for the implementation of the project and determining the time plans.
  2. Ensure the proper implementation of the project’s activities ,objectives and work plan according to the approved project description,
  3. Working with the programs department and managing the project team, monitoring progress and expenditure and appropriate steering measures and day to day implementation.
  4. Planning and scheduling the distribution of services for the beneficiaries according to the organization’s procedures and donor regulation,
  5. Representing the organization when necessary in coordination meetings with other agencies when it is related to projects,
  6. Ensuring that all beneficiaries are provided with services in a timely manner,
  7. Preparing all project related reports in accordance to the agreed project description, timeframe, objectives and other related matters,
  8. Ensure correct data collection and data entry.
  9. Preparing weekly and monthly reports for the Program Manager as required,
  10. Coordinate with other departments as needed to ensure the availability of the project objectives, needs and available funds.
  11. Prepare and report the 5ws on time.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills:

· University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related field

· At least five years of work experience in project management, FSL, or livelihood fields of which at least three should be in NGOs.

· Proposal Writing, grant administration, and donor reporting.

  • Experience in managing/supervising staff.
  • Experience of donor compliance regulations.

· Knowledge of humanitarian standards and codes, including SPHERE is preferred.

· Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

· Strong Computer Skills.

· Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
