📝 Job description
Field interviewers will be responsible for conducting structured interviews with households, communities, and local institutions , administering digital questionnaires in various regions of the country. This profile represents the first point of contact with the target populations and is key to ensuring the quality, accuracy, and ethics of the information collected.
🛠 Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys using digital devices (tablets or smartphones) through platforms such as KoboCollect, ODK, or SurveyCTO;
- Conduct face-to-face interviews with individuals, families, community leaders or institutional actors;
- Ensure informed consent is obtained and protect the confidentiality of participants;
- Participate in technical training sessions, tool testing, and coordination meetings;
- Submit complete and accurate forms within the established deadlines;
- Inform the field supervisor of any logistical, technical, or ethical difficulties during the collection process.
✅ Requirements
- Completed secondary education certificate (university education will be considered an advantage);
- Previous experience in surveys, censuses, social diagnoses or community research;
- Practical knowledge of digital data collection tools;
- Fluency in Spanish; functional knowledge of Portuguese or French will be highly valued;
- Familiarity with national languages such as Fang, Bubi, Ndowé, Annobonese, among others;
- Availability to travel within the country, including rural or hard-to-reach areas;
- Sense of responsibility, punctuality, discretion and interpersonal communication skills.
