Position Summary.
Under the Technical supervision of Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator. the incumbent administers the supply operations of a relatively simple nature and limited impact ,The logistics officer will be responsible and accountable for supply chain activities including Asset mangment ,warehouseing,shipment delivery and manaing the fleet.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Fleet Management:
· Provide logistical support to distribute and deliver goods to the health facilities/or implementation sites as needed
· Prepare shipment plan and collect needed approval and permissions from the border and internal RI security team.
· Facilitate and coordinate to receive the shipments from border (zero point).
· Maintain RI fleet monthly report.
Prepare the monthly payment of vehicle framework agreement and review vehicle timesheets.
Aseet Mangment:
· Update RI Asset database and make sure all documents in place, handover,asset ID, disposal…etc
· Prepare donor asset reports and disposition list
· Maintain RI Asset monthly report
· Cross check with field team to make sure all asset information up to date and included in the monthly report.
Warehouse mangment and logsitics:
· Follow up GIK “gift in kind” tracker and make sure all documents are updated and in place.
· Coordenate with external parties and NGO’s to receive and deliver GIK shipments.
· Facilitate RI semi-annual and annual physical stock check
· Follow up disposal plan at warehouses and coordinate with related parties
· Coordinate with the Syria office on delivery of supplies and make sure all documentation is in place such as Goods Received Notes, waybills, monitoring reports etc.
· Oversee and manage offload-onload of the RI supplies at Zero Points, be responsible for storage of goods and transfers of items to field sites.
· Manage the Consolidated warehouse reports
· Support and monitor the maintenance and repair of office facilities, including preventive maintenance. Contribute to the establishment of maintenance agreements with competent service providers, when it is feasible and determined to be cost-effective.
· Update stock report database and make sure all documents are in place.
· Coordinate the disposal in case if needed at RI warehouses.
· Coordinate with other officers, warehouses, and WGSS centers to make sure that they are following RI guidelines regarding generator usage and monthly maintenance
Others
· All other duties might assigned by SCO Manager.
· Provide on job training for the warehouse team
· Guide the team on practicing the right processes and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
This position will require a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a demanding and fast paced environment.
· Bachelor’s degree ,Pharmacy or medical background is preferred
· At least 3 years of proven experience in logistics and supply chain management. Previous NGO experience in a similar context is a plus.
· Strong organizational skills;
· Ability to interact effectively with international and national personnel;
· Excellent oral and written English skills;
· Excellent oral and written Arabic skills
· High-level computer skills on MS Office programs especially Excel;and smartsheet
· A demonstrated ability to multi-task and process information into action as to not delay program activities;
